Due to numerous requests I have added a class for teenagers called Drawing and Painting for Teenagers to the holiday programme; we can taking bookings now for all next holiday courses, have a look at the programme. Our School Holiday Programme caters to 6 - 12 year olds while the Painting and Drawing for Teenagers caters to teenagers.

Janice Kingston is not taking any classes this term; she will be back for term 3.

Basia's Printmaking class has moved from Wednesday Morning to Friday Morning for this term; the Open Studio print on Fridays has moved to Wednesday Morning; the Monday Open Studio print runs as usual.

I have programmed a Painting Open Studio for Friday Mornings.

Basic Black and White Photography Tutor: Mark Marriott Come behind the camera and back to basics. On this darkroom-based course you will learn camera handling, technique and basic B&W photographic processing including film developing and printing in Inverlochy’s own darkroom. Mark will teach you the fundamentals of taking a picture and developing your film all the way through to making the finished print. Please bring along an SLR camera preferably with manual controls. No experience necessary. One film, half a packet of paper and all chemicals are provided.

Mark Marriott Mark graduated from Wellington Polytechnic School of Design with a Certificate in Photography in 1987 and graduated from Victoria University with a Batchelor's Degree in Art History and English Literature in 2005. Mark started working in Wellington as a freelance commercial photographer after returning from Britain and has worked in this medium for the last seventeen years. During this time he has had solo and group exhibitions of his personal work. His work is held in both public and private collections. Mark is involved with Photospace Studio Gallery and the Gilberd Marriott Gallery. He is one of Inverlochy's regular tutors in Photography. View all courses taught by Mark
