Inverlochy Art School in central Wellington offers you a fabulous range of highest quality part time art classes taught by carefully selected practicing artists and artisans. Our courses are designed for all levels of ability and are taught in a friendly and informal environment. We have a maximum student limit for each course, giving you the best tutor/student ratio possible.

Watercolour Painting with Caroline Hillier - Summer School

Capture Wellington in Summer - drawing and painting scenes in and around the city, its landscape and coastline, buildings, boats, trees & people in their environment. Watercolour is a beautiful, transparent medium well suited to such subjects.Weather permitting, some of the time will be spent out of doors concentrating first on views from the waterfront and then in and around the Botanic Gardens. We will also work indoors on Still Life and flowers etc.    

This course is for both newcomers as well as those who have painted before, experienced painters will encouraged to develop their skills and styles.

All basic materials provided. 

If you are experienced you can bring your own brushes etc. if preferred.
