10 Years On

IAS Community Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition, 10 Years On, by Wellington painter Mark Peck.

2025 marks a significant anniversary for Peck, who ten years ago decided to try his hand at painting, and has been devoted to the practice ever since. Over the past ten years, Peck's playful and experimental approach to painting has resulted in a wide variety of works, from softly surreal landscapes to large abstract works inspired by the artist Hilma af Klint.

Mark Peck is currently a studio artist at Inverlochy Art School. His work is made intuitively and often drawn from memory.  This retrospective of his work captures the twists and turns of his journey and the successes found through his constant desire to push the boundaries of what he knows he can do.
