Landforms catch my eye and intrigue me. How to capture the light on the ridges and the dark valleys filled with shade. I want to share my approach with my students. What colours to use and where to start.

In this two day workshop you will use the core techniques of watercolour to paint landforms. We will refresh our knowledge of washes and edges, then use them to create beautiful landscape paintings.

This course is suitable for experienced students looking to further develop their watercolour skills.

Bring your own watercolour paints, palette, brushes and 300gsm watercolour paper.

One hour lunch - bring your own to enjoy in the historic Inverlochy House or explore the neighbouring Te Aro cafes.
