Course Details

In this course you will learn the core techniques of watercolour to create landscapes, still life, using a variety of edges and washes and wet in wet techniques.

Watercolour is all about control of the water on the brush, the pigment in your palette and the dampness of the paper. Only practice will guarantee good control of these elements. We make that practice fun by using vibrant colours and create four paintings to take home. 

This course is suitable for watercolour beginners and those developing their skills.

We provide the basic materials, or you can bring your own watercolour paints, palette, brushes, and ten sheets of A4 sheets of 300gsm watercolour rough paper.

One hour lunch - bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the historic Inverlochy house or explore the local Wellington cafes.
