Inverlochy Art School is a not-for-profit charity and kaitiaki of historic Inverlochy House. Guided by the kaupapa of “art for art’s sake,” we create opportunities for people to experience and enjoy making art through a wide range of classes and workshops. We also support local artists through tutoring opportunities, studio rentals, and exhibition opportunities.
Our programme is vibrant and constantly evolving in response to our community; but we're often held back by limited staffing and resources. In our eyes, Inverlochy - it's house, history and creative community - is a real Wellington treasure, and we want to both safe-keep it and ensure that more people are able to experience it.
