IAS Cushion Concerts presents local bands in the intimate environment of historic Inverlochy House. Join us as The Light House Trio explores some new interpretations of familiar melodies and unheard compositions! The trio is celebrating the release of their debut EP and will play original arrangements of favourite tunes as well as new original songs. Expect mysterious ballads, soulful blues, and exhilarating bop.
The Lighthouse Trio is made up of three of Wellington's busiest players; Alex Trask, Jeremy Grant, and Elijah Mulheron. Alex is a highly regarded alto saxophonist who is seen all around town leading bands and playing for some of the leading musical organisations, including the RNZAF band and formerly the Rodger Fox Big Band. Elijah is the busiest bassist in town and often appears with Wellington legends such as Callum Allardice and John Rae. Jeremy is an extremely captivating guitarist and the creative force behind the arrangements you will hear.
