Current Events

Our popular children's after school classes have resumed with Rowena and Rachel and our September/October holiday programme is up and running. We have Rowena Fry in week one and Cartooning & Zines for Tweens & Teens with Randy Wolf in week 2.

We offer classes for beginners, and ongoing progressive classes for advanced practitioners in drawing, painting, printmaking, illustration and silk screening. Our classes are small and most fees include all materials (check individual classes for details). We have a maximum student limit for each course, giving you the best tutor/student ratio possible.

We also run open studios for groups of artists who wish to meet regularly, or you can use our specialist print studio if you have printmaking experience. Please inquire for further details.

We are located in the atmospheric, grade II listed, historic Inverlochy House in the Te Aro district of Wellington. Our garden maintenance is held on the last Saturday of every month.  Bring garden gloves, tools and join the fun.

Inverlochy Art School is pleased to return to Level 1 in the Wellington region. Our QR code is located on the front door and the alternative hand written contact register is in the foyer upon entry. For further information on safety guidelines under the Covid19 alert levels, please visit
