Course Details

Painting with a limited palette allows one to learn the importance of contrast and tone. This course encourages one to make the most of what you have while creating a mood and balance in your piece. 

In this course students will learn

• to see the complex tonal varieties in the process of painting
• create mood and balance through the use of warm and cool tones
• create shadows with a white palette
• create multi-dimensional forms with a white palette

This course is appropriate for students at a beginners or intermediate level.
