Welcome to Inverlochy Art School

Inverlochy Art School offers a broad range of high quality art classes and workshops, taught by a community of enthusiastic and talented practicing artists all year round. We believe in art for arts sake and allow students to find freedom in creative exploration.  We are located within central Te Aro, Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington.

To ensure the safety and well being of Inverlochy Art School's community, all visitors must sign in using either the COVID-19 app on the front door or the manual sign in register on the podium in the foyer. In addition, we ask that all students create their masterpieces one metre apart and wash and sanitize their hands regularly.

Pin & Play Pin Cushion workshop with Stella (Saturday 12 June 9am-5pm)

Course Description:

Give your sewing supplies a fun splash of colour and texture. Learn how to make a hand embroidered pin cushion using contemporary stitch techniques in this fully made by hand textile art class. A one day workshop, in this class you will create a stitched surface design and then transform it into a quilted 3D pin cushion using a raw quilting technique. You will both further refine your design abilities through developing a unique surface design and also develop skills in several basic embroidery stitches.
