Course Details

In this introduction to painting Melissa will start the class on a journey through the basic elements of painting in acrylic and oil paint. With an emphasis on simple beginnings, the lessons will include colour theory, skin tones, structure and composition resulting in completed portraits and still life. 
This class will suit anyone who is interested in learning the basic painting skills. The class is structured around a series of exercises that explore the foundations of still-life and portrait painting. 
Melissa focuses on a personalised approach for the student with an emphasis on finding that person’s passion in art. 

Class is suitable for all levels of experience, we start from where you are.
