Course Details

This popular Wednesday evening course is an introductory class for painting in oils. Starting with drawing as a warm up, then moving into colour and paint.

If you already have an idea of what to paint or simply need direction, Cecilia will help you explore the possibilities in either case. The class aim is to give you confidence in developing your abilities, beginning with drawing and an understanding of light and tone. As your skills develop you will progress into colour and an exploration of personal style - which naturally emerges as experience with painting develops. 

Working at your own pace, on going attendance will help provide you with all the skills necessary to paint and explore your own creativity. Class is suitable for all levels of experience, we start from where you are. 

All basic materials provided.
