The Geometry of Drawing with Denise Durkin (Tuesdays 6.30 - 8.30pm) T1.21
It is all about the geometry and shapes. Like Anyone Can Draw you will examine the fundamentals of drawing with a careful helpful
approach, focusing on geometric shapes and solids and how they contribute to both realist and abstract drawing. An appreciation of geometry and shapes can help with constructing a drawing, your tone, design and perspective. Geometry is also a fabulous science for patterns and artistic theory.
Perspective applies to all spatial objects and is helped with basic geometry. There is an extended section on perspective in this class..
In these classes some chronological order is useful, but all aspects
of drawing are equally important and contribute to successful work so
each class can be taken independently and be valuable.
All basic materials supplied.
