Anyone Can Draw with Denise Durkin Part 1 (Mondays 10am to 1pm) T4.20
Over the last few months we have run
short terms where this class has been divided in half. Here students who
have completed the first or second half will have the opportunity to
complete the classes of the full cause. Run with the term 4 class, the
student will join for the half they need. In this class - Part 1, we
will cover the first 4 weeks, covering contour, gesture, organizational,
and spatial relationships in drawing.
This introductory Monday morning class
teaches the technical skills of drawing, using a variety of media,
including pen and ink, charcoal, pencil and pastel. There will be
exercises in a range of formal skills: quality of line, understanding
form, composition of elements on the format that will lead to finding
your own means of expression. With expert guidance from Denise you will
learn a broad range of skills that can serve as a basis for advancing
into classes in painting.

This class has an extra Monday to cover the Labour Day holiday
