Course Details

Come join us on this 8-week course, exploring creative writing and the tools, techniques, practices, and prompts for creating and generating unique ideas and inspiration for stories, plays, poems, and memoirs - along with the space in which to expand them.

Taught by multi-disciplinary creative, Anna Persson, this course provides an inviting and inspiring space in which to write alongside others in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Over the course of 8 weeks, you will: 
  • Learn more about the creative blocks that hold us back from uncovering our creative potential, and how to move past them! 
  • Incorporate writing habits into your life - allowing yourself the time and space to just sit down, be creative, and write
  • Gain experience and confidence in sharing your writing with others
  • Develop unique and original ideas for characters, stories, and dialogue
  • Learn how to write from the true real-life experiences of others 
  • Practice writing in response to a myriad of creative and fun prompts
  • Reflect on your personal experiences through writing 
  • Explore the basic conventions of script writing, poetry, and short story
  • Create opportunities to explore your creativity in a supportive space 

Please bring something to write in and a pen. 

Please note: Anna is in the Fringe Festival!! -  therefore no class on 2 March 2022
