Course Details

Explore your creativity through the use of mixed media.  All welcome. No prior experience needed just the desire to explore.

• The course encourages one to observe and find materials/things that can be created into a new object.  This can be 2D or 3D and serve as a conduit to express a concept, a sensation and or the essence of what one extracts from those elements. 
• In this course we will use collage, frottage, assembly, painting - what ever is needed to create the piece.  
• We will explore how to extract/find/assign a concept to materials(recycled or found) that will end in a piece of art with meaning beyond the 'decorative'.
• This is an ideal course for participants to explore 'making'.
