This life-drawing course will provide you with the basic strategies you need to draw the figure convincingly and expressively. You will learn how to capture the figure in quick sketches, how to approach sustained studies and develop the ability to draw what you see using a lively, sensitive line. Charcoal, pencil and paint will be explored. You will be able to take this toolbox of skills to further develop your life-drawing in both tutored and untutored classes.   VERSATILE WATERCOLOUR - Tutor: Caroline Hillier

Watercolour with its transparency and freshness lends itself to many different styles and techniques from very detailed to bold and free. Explore watercolour through wet-on-dry and wet-in-wet techniques and experience the control and looseness of the medium. We will be painting a variety of subjects including still life, figures, flowers, landscapes and townscapes. Weather permitting, some classes will be held outdoors.
