If you’ve already done one of Inverlochy’s screen-printing classes and want to take things to the next level then this course is for you. All the darkroom facilities, emulsions and inks are laid on and you can come in and print fabric or paper to your hearts content. This class is untutored but tutor Bruce will be on hand to answer questions (or find inks). All basic materials provided. (No class Labour Day Oct 27, make-up is Dec 15).

Whether you want to create a piece of fine art or just print your own t-shirts this course is for you. You will learn how to apply images to screens using a range of stencil and photo-emulsion techniques. This enables you to print your own photos and art on to paper, canvas, fabric and t-shirts. Bring along your own design ideas and Bruce will help you bring them to fruition. This course is suitable for beginners while experienced students will be extended. All basic materials will be provided but you will need to purchase screens from Bruce for $35 once classes have commenced (2 available per student).

Japanese bookbinding is an ancient but amazingly versatile style of bookbinding that is both beautiful and practical. Designed for the complete beginner, this workshop explores the construction of an A4 size Japanese soft cover book using a range of decorative papers, traditional exposed stitching patterns and beautiful bamboo closing clasp. Based on single A4 sheets, this style of binding is ideal for home printed creative writing collections, artist books of prints or drawings, blank journals, recipe books or even a photo album. All materials, equipment and comprehensive notes are supplied.
