Due to numerous requests I have added a class for teenagers called Drawing and Painting for Teenagers to the holiday programme; we can taking bookings now for all next holiday courses, have a look at the programme. Our School Holiday Programme caters to 6 - 12 year olds while the Painting and Drawing for Teenagers caters to teenagers.

Please note some changes for Term 2:

Janice Kingston is not taking any classes this term; she will be back for term 3.

Basia's Printmaking class has moved from Wednesday Morning to Friday Morning for this term; the Open Studio print on Fridays has moved to Wednesday Morning; the Monday Open Studio print runs as usual.

I have programmed a Painting Open Studio for Friday Mornings.

Teenage Senior Students Art Class

Tutor: David Jones

These multimedia classes are for Senior Students to experience and develop painting and drawing techniques, colour theory, proportion and perspective. Beginners are recommended to attend 4-6pm; Master Class runs from 6.30-8.30pm. All basic materials provided.

David Jones Tutor profile image David O. Jones is a self taught artist who has spent the past 5 years pursuing an in-depth and full-time study of drawing and painting in the classical tradition. He has been involved with several group and solo shows, as well as completing numerous portrait commissions.

David is passionate about art education and has a firm belief that anyone, regardless of talent, can master the fundamental means of expressing one’s self through art.
He offers a systematic and logical approach, combining practical demonstrations with direct explanations that build upon one another in a clear sequence.
He hopes that by providing students with a robust and time-tested skill set, they will be able to confidently communicate their own taste and creativity through their work.
