Silver Jewellery Making (Day)
Enjoy a term of ‘hands on’ creativity with Natalie making silver
jewellery on Wednesday mornings. Beginners will start by learning basic
jewellery making techniques such as sawing, filing, and soldering, and
creating a simple piece of body adornment (for example a ring band).
Those with some experience in jewellery making can develop and refine
their skills as well as learning new techniques, including various ways
of stone setting and metal finishing techniques. You will be guided with
patience and through hands-on demonstrations, creating pieces such as
rings, earrings, pendants, chains or brooches. All specialist tools and
equipment are provided. Classes are on Wednesdays between both 9.30am –
1.00pm and 5.30pm – 8.30pm. All basic materials provided (gem stones
will be extra).
